How to use the Social Media Marketing Feed

  1. Tap a Platform, such as Instagram, WhatsApp or LinkedIn, to see only the stories about it; the number on each chip shows how many there are.
  2. Use Everything, Platform news, India or Guides to choose the kind of source, or type in Search stories to find a feature or brand.
  3. Switch between Cards and Headlines for the layout you prefer, then tap any story to read it in full on the original site.

Good to know

  • Stories marked Official come straight from Meta, YouTube or Google, so check those first when a feature change affects your clients or content plan.
  • Stories added since your last visit carry a New tag, which makes a quick morning check easy.
  • The India filter brings together Social Samosa, afaqs!, ET BrandEquity and MediaNama, useful for campaign news, regulation and what Indian brands are doing.
  • Platform tags are matched from each headline and summary, so a story can appear under more than one platform, and now and then one may be missed.
  • If a source shows (not responding) in the list at the bottom, its stories will return once its feed is back.

No. Headlines, pictures and one-line summaries come from each publisher's own RSS feed, and every story links to the original article on their site.

Is the marketing news feed free? Do I need an account?

It is free with no account. The page fetches stories from Samchive's own server, which collects the feeds once an hour; your filters and layout are remembered in your browser.
