  5. Press Download PNG to save the whole profile as one tall image for client approvals.

Good to know

  • Instagram’s grid now crops posts to 3:4, so a 1080 × 1350 post loses a little on each side. Check exact sizes in the Size Visualizer.
  • Show older posts underneath adds soft placeholder tiles, not your real posts, so you can judge how a new row sits. Mark the new ones outlines what is new.
  • Choosing Pinned moves that post to the front of the grid, the way pinned posts sit first on a real profile.
  • You can add up to 30 images at a time and up to 8 highlights. Images are shrunk to 1080 px so the page stays quick.
  • Your profile text and settings are remembered in this browser, but the photos are not. Download the PNG before you close the page.

Questions

How can I preview my Instagram grid before posting?

Add your next posts here in posting order and they appear on top of a mock profile, just as they would after you post. Drag them around until the rows look balanced, then download the preview.

Does Instagram show a 3:4 grid now?

Yes. Instagram’s profile grid shows posts as 3:4 portrait tiles rather than squares. The tool uses 3:4 by default, and you can switch to Square (classic) to compare.

Do I need to log in to Instagram to use this?

No. The tool doesn’t connect to Instagram at all. You type in the username, bio, follower counts and highlights yourself, which also makes it handy for mocking up a client’s or a new brand’s profile.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. It is free and everything happens in your browser. Your images never leave your device and are gone when you close the page.

Can I plan my Instagram grid on my phone?

Yes. It works in your phone’s browser: tap Choose images to pick photos from your gallery, press and hold a post to drag it into place, then press Download PNG to save the preview as one picture.

Why does Instagram crop my photos on the grid?

The profile grid shows 3:4 tiles. Square posts and 4:5 posts (1080 × 1350) are trimmed at the sides to fit; only 3:4 posts (1080 × 1440) show in full. Add your posts here to see exactly what the grid keeps before you post.

How do I share a feed plan with a client?

Press Download PNG. You get the full profile, from the header and bio down to the grid, as one image 1080 px wide that you can send on WhatsApp or email.

Can I plan reels and carousels too?

Yes. Set a post to Reel or Carousel and it gets the matching corner icon in the grid. The grid shows the cover image you add, not the video or the other slides.
